The Norwegian El18 is based on the Swiss Re460. They were built in 1996
en 1997 by Adtranz in Strømmen Norway. They replaced the El17 in the
express train services.
Because most manufacturers have a model of the Swiss Re460 it was to be
expected that some HO models of the El18 would come on the market. Sofar
three manufacturers have produced an El18; Hag, Märklin and Roco.

Description:

This is a 2 rail version of the Märklin El18, which was produced
exclusively for the Norwegian market. Some specific Norwegian modifications
were made to the basic Re460 model. The cab interior has the driver position on the correct right side.
I've replaced the pantographs with better looking versions from Roco.

Norway. It has Norwegian snowplow on cab 1. The cab interior was also modified
