G12 7707 was a demonstrator for EMD in Europe. It was sold to the Swedisch
Railways were it served, as the T42.205, until the early eighties. In 1986 is was bought
by the Norwegian GM-Gruppen, which restored it. It is currently in use
for charter trains.
