Introduction

HO NOHAB Models
MX, MY and MZ models
In the 1950's the DSB (Danish State Railways) was looking for a diesel locomotive. It selected a series of 4 locomotives of type MY that were built by NOHAB in Sweden. This started a long term relationship with NOHAB that lasted well into the 1970's. It resulted in the series MX, MV, MY and MZ. This page will show my DSB NOHAB models.
HO MY Models
DSB MY models
In HO the DSB MY is a classic. It started with the Danish company Long in the 1950's, quickly followed by Märklin, Fleischmann and Piko. The 2000's started with a brass model from NMJ Superline but then Heljan and Roco quickly followed. Later on NMJ Topline, Trix, Biervliet and Piko followed. Because of this, it is now possible to have highly detailed HO locomotives of the DSB MY (NOHAB/EMD AA16).
